Emergency & Non-Emergency Callouts

Dear Tenants:
The CHISHOLM HRA would like to inform all tenants of Procedures and rules for callouts.

HRA EMERGENCY CALLOUTS DEFINITION – anytime a tenant calls for an HRA Employee to come out after normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:00 PM Monday – Friday, or a Holiday.

The following are NOT considered EMERGENCY CALL-OUTS, NOR SHALL THE CALL BE RETURNED, and if a TENANT does call out an HRA Employee for any of these listed below, they will be charged a minimum of $75.00 and not addressed until regular business hours.

Non-Emergency Call-Outs

The following are NOT considered EMERGENCY CALL-OUTS, NOR SHALL THE CALL BE RETURNED, and if a TENANT does call out an HRA Employee for any of these listed below, they will be charged a minimum of $75.00 and not addressed until regular business hours.

  • Plugged Toilets. (Tenant Responsibility)
  • Plugged Drains
  • Refrigerator not working correctly
  • Leaking drain – either under kitchen sink, bathroom, or basement.
  • Stove not working correctly
  • Burned out lights (Tenant responsibility)
  • Toilet that does not stop running – Turn the valve beneatth the toilet off and call during normal business hours!
  • Minor leaking hot water heater
  • Broken Windows
  • Blown fuses/tripped breakers

We encourage residents to check for leaks on a frequent basis and if you find any – inform the office and we will fix them during normal business hours. The same holds true for any problems with your stove or refrigerator.

We will address any major SNOW STORM as they happen. If a small amount of snow falls – we will take care of snow removal during normal business hours.

Emergency Call-Outs

Any Major Problems like broken water line, heat not working, frozen water lines.

PLEASE KEEP WINDOWS SHUT SO COLD AIR DOES NOT FREEZE LINES). Please call the office (218-254-2656) during regular business hours or the after-hours number, 218-969-6441 after business hours to get a hold of the maintenance technician. We will try to get to you ASAP to remedy the problem. There is no charge for call-outs such as these.
